Job Description:
As a Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dance studio, managing administrative tasks, maintaining a positive environment for both staff and students, and ensuring the smooth running of all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the studio, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere
Manage studio schedules, class rosters, and bookings for instructors, classes, and events
Handle client inquiries, registrations, payments, and customer service duties
Coordinate with instructors to ensure proper class management and coverage
Plan and execute promotional events, workshops, and recitals to engage the local community
Maintain studio supplies, equipment, and facilities
Oversee social media and marketing initiatives to boost the studio’s visibility
Manage financial aspects including invoicing, payroll, and budgeting
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Foster strong relationships with students, instructors, and the wider community
Address any operational issues quickly and effectively
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Performing Arts, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Previous management experience, preferably in a creative or dance-related setting
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Workspace) and management tools
Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
Knowledge of dance or a passion for the performing arts is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
